Life as a Happy Ana

[I have never been a blogger, but I want to be one now.]

As life passes at its breakneck pace, it's becoming harder for me to take a step back every once in awhile to just appreciate what I've got:
  • I'm alive.
  • I have a beautiful family, best friends, and boyfriend.
  • I'm lucky enough to be attending college on scholarship.
  • I have a ridiculously large collection of coffee, tea, juice, and vodka.
  • I'm dedicated to Ana and it's paying off.
Every time life throws something crazy at me, I'm going to post something positive here. It will be my reminder to look on the bright side of life, and never take anything too seriously.

Hopefully, I might even make some friends out of the experience-
Some other people who like to laugh and share things that they discover in the middle of the night when everyone else is too sleepy to crack up over it.

But... If no one visits this page, if I blog every day for myself alone, then at least I'm doing it with a smile.

  1. Wow Naomi, I'm pretty stoked to have found your blog too. :)
So many people on here turn out super depressed and start like turning to self-hatred, making what the scale says determine what kind of person they are. So it is really a breath of fresh air to have someone who is ana but is still happy and enjoying their life. Thank God I'm not the only one!!
Also, you are so right that most of the girls here are only at most thirty pounds from their goals and it makes you feel bad because their always saying how big THEY are and then it's all: "well what am I??" Anyway, we'll show em how it's really done :)
    Thanx for following BTW!

  2. Well I'm going to follow you :)
I know you live in the US, but have you seen Skins - Series 3 or 4? If you have then it's interesting - I'm Emily, and you're called Naomi. They're a couple in the programme :P
Anyway, maybe I'll tell you a bit about me. I developed AN, got put in IP, came out of IP but lost weight soon as I was able to without people who could stop me realising, then came to a weight I was almost happy with, and was maintaining but a few weeks ago started binging unfortunately. It started a little binge/restrict cycle, but ultimately I gained weight and messed up my eating habits. There's only one way my mind knows how to react, I've got to focus on losing weight properly again. I've got to relose the weight, and so I started a blog to keep me focussed, so the binge/restrict cycle becomes just restricting. Sorry for the long story. x
